How do I take the Level Test or Level Up Test?
Your Level (Up) Test starts by clicking a link on EnglishCentral (website or app). This will start a Zoom session. You can choose to use your internet browser or the Zoom app to take the test lesson. We ask you to login 5 minutes before the scheduled session time and go to the Live! Lessons section.

- The Level Test or Level Up Test is a 20 minute online conversation with a teacher. You can start the test lesson by clicking the 'start lesson' button on EnglishCentral (website or mobile app). You can find this red button in the Live! Lessons section of EnglishCentral (web or mobile app).
Steps to take the Level Test or Level Up Test on Zoom
- Click the 'Start your Lesson' button on EnglishCentral in the Live! Lessons section. This will start a Zoom session.
- You can use your internet browser or the Zoom app to take the test. Our advice is to use the Zoom app for the best experience.
- The camera and microphone of your computer or mobile device will be used.
- In most cases you first need to give your permission for use of the camera and microphone.
- If you have problems using Zoom please contact us. In some cases the test can be taken using Microsoft Teams.
- Please login 5 minutes before the scheduled time of your test to start the lesson.
- Wait for the teacher to join, you are ready for the test.

How do I schedule the Level Up Test (LUT)?
The Level Up Test (LUT) is a 20-minute conversation with a tutor that starts on EnglishCentral (website or app) in the Live! Lessons section. The Level Up Test lesson itself is taken using Zoom. You can use an internet browser or the Zoom app to take it. It measures your improvement compared to the Level Test and is similar to it in structure. You can schedule the LUT when you have completed all of your courses. Read below to find out how you can check if you have completed your courses and fill in the form to request the LUT.
