How do I schedule the Level Test (LT)?

Where to schedule your Level Test (LT)

You can schedule your LT by choosing a date and time on

• EnglishCentral  (web or app)
• in the section Live! Lessons which you can find in the menu

Search for this section in the main menu of the website or the mobile app. Screenshots of website and app are below (plase scroll down to see them, text continues after the screenshots).

Test starts by clicking the button 'Start your Lesson' on EnglishCentral in the Live! Lessons section

The Level Test is a 20 minute online conversation with a teacher. You can start the test lesson by clicking a link on EnglishCentral in the Live! Lessons section. You can access the lesson up to 5 minutes before the scheduled start time. These are the steps to take to start it:

• To start Your Lesson. Click or tap the “Start Your Lesson” button.
• This will open a new tab. You can then choose on of the following options
  • Join directly via your internet browser, or
  • Go to the Zoom site/app to download and install Zoom.
• We recommend downloading and using the Zoom app for optimal performance.
• You will in most cases be asked to give your permission for use of the camera and microphone. 
• Join the Zoom Classroom. You will be connected as a participant in the Zoom classroom. The session will begin and may be recorded automatically for your future reference.

If you have problems using Zoom please contact us. In some cases the test can be taken using Microsoft Teams.
