How does the online 'Classroom' on EnglishCentral work for tests and tutor sessions?
EnglishCentral.com and the EnglishCentral app provide access to a 'Classroom'. This virtual classroom is used to take your Level (Up) Test and GoLive! lessons on englishcentral.com. Before July 2024 the meeting application Zoom was used for classroom sessions, this is no longer the case.
You can use the integrated classroom on EnglishCentral.com and in the EnglishCentral app on any device with a sufficient Internet speed (no special account needed).
- You can then take your Level (Up) Test or GoLive! lesson by clicking the red "Start your Lesson" button in the "Live! Lessons" tab on englishcentral.com 5 minutes before a scheduled session starts.
- You do not need to install anything if you want to use the online classroom on EnglishCentral

How do I schedule the Level Up Test (LUT)?
The Level Up Test (LUT) is a 20-minute conversation with a tutor in a virtual classroom on EnglishCentral (website or app). It measures your improvement compared to the Level Test and is similar to it in structure. You can schedule the LUT when you have completed all of your courses. Read below to find out how you can check if you have completed your courses and fill in the form to request the LUT.
