What to do if I have a technical issue and my own troubleshooting did not help?

What information can help the SOL support team understand and resolve the issue?

If you are experiencing technical problem our advice is to first take some troubleshooting steps that very often help. These steps are described in the article 'How do I solve technical issues?'. If troubleshooting has not worked you can contact support at Spot On Learning. To look into the issue and help you solve it we need some information.

Information we need to know to solve your technical issue:

  • Your name and email address;
  • The device you are using, i.e., computer, phone, or tablet;
  • What kind of device it is, e.g., iOS (iPhone and iPad), Android, or Windows/macOS (computer);
  • If you use the EnglishCentral app or a browser;
    • If you are using the app, send us the app version if you know it.
    • If you are using a browser, what browser it is, e.g., Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Opera, etc.
  • What you were doing when you first encountered the issue (send us a screenshot if possible)
  • Include (enough) details, e.g., what does not work, what you (do not) see, what does not load, what you cannot do or hear, etc.
  • If you can include a screenshot that will often be very helpful.

Please understand that we will always try to first reproduce the problem you are experiencing. Therefore, it is important we have enough details to check everything.
