You can see how much you should do on englishcentral.com by logging into your account or looking at the weekly emails we send you. If you adhere to this tempo, you will finish your courses just in time!

We also recommend you spread your weekly load evenly across the (working) week. I.e., we think the best way to study is 30 minutes a day 5 times a week*. If you want to study in shorter sessions but more than 5 days per week, it is also fine.

Why are shorter, regular sessions preferred?

The reason why we favour regular sessions is that both our experience and research show that people who study often in somewhat short sessions improve their English faster and to a higher extent than people who either take it too slow or too fast**. Developing a habit of studying (e.g., Monday to Friday or every other evening) helps attain and retain material better, so the proverb must be true: "Practice makes perfect!"

** Just like studying too slow may not result in the best outcome, rushing through the program is not a good idea either. If you complete your englishcentral.com courses too quickly, you will be assigned another study curriculum.
