We invite you to reflect on your personal leadership styles and preferences, and to share your experiences in managing your local team, as this will spur the best learning outcome for yourself as well as your fellow participants.
The course starts with a personal assessment of your own leadership preferences based on several cultural dimensions that impact your role as a leader (agendasetting, assigning responsibilities, decisionmaking, and monitoring progress) . The intercultural leadership scan shows your preferences regarding power distance, communication, feedback, decisionmaking and rules. We also invite you to share about your position and team, as well as your questions and learning goals for the course.
You will receive invitations for the Zoom workshops by email. Please contact us if you have not received your invitation 1 week before the workshop.
After the first workshop you will be invited to answer questions about the workshop and work on a case-based online lesson. After the second workshop you will be again be invited to first answer some questions. By answering the questions you will unlock two online assignments
In some cases you will have to finish a step before you can start working on the next step. We ask of participants to finish the online assignments before the next workshop. The online assignments will help you get the most out of the course. The trainer will refer to what has been explained in the online assignments during the workshops. Also you might have questions about the cases and analysis. The trainer can answer them during the workshop.
We invite you to share your experiences and specific questions in advance and during the workshops so we can optimize the learning outcome.
