    *Base form: the root form of a verb is the base form. It's the form that's listed in the dictionary. It is the version of the verb without any endings (such as -s, -ing, and ed).

    **Past Simple: 2nd form of the verb, to talk about a completed action in a time before now.

    • Example: That was the last time I spoke to her.  

    ***Past Participle: 3rd form of the verb, to talk about a completed action but important now.

    • Example: I've paid off my intuition money with the money I got from my parents.
