How come not all participants receive the invitation email with their password?

After the participant is added to my.spotonlearning.eu, Support Spot On Learning sends the participant an invitation to start the program. Sometimes our emails are not received by the user. Read this article with tips to resolve this problem.

We don't know yet how this started, but sometimes our emails are seen as spam. We are working on ways to make our emails less sensitive for spam filters, but we don't have a tailor-made solution yet.

  • Tip 1: Inform participants to add support@spotonlearning.nl to their contact list before you add them to my.spotonlearning.eu. Once the participant adds our email address to their contact list, we are 'whitelisted'. This will ensure that all of our mails end up in their regular incoming mail, instead of in the spam.
  • Tip 2: If the participant has been invited but has not received the invitation email, please ask them to check the spam folder.

How do I know if the invitation has been sent to the participant?

Every participant with a scorecard on 'invited', has received an email. Sometimes there's also a date next to the invited section (see screenshot)

How can participants add support@spotonlearning.eu to their contacts list?

Whitelisting is a first step in making sure we can send tips/tricks/invitations/updates to the participants. Underneath you can find instructions per email provider about how to whitelist.
